Ultovo: The Ultimate Egg Hunt - Woodland Egg · Luiz Fernando Peters

Puzzles and Hidden Clues - Learn About Real Endangered Species - Collectible Cards in Every Book

After being expelled from Ultierra, Dylan and his friends follow the signal of a missing egg into the muck of a dying forest. Little do they know, they aren't as alone on this mission as they think. While following a trail through muddy drainage lines, they discover a world both fragile and dangerous. Will Dylan's growing Biomancer powers be enough to save the Ultovo in time?

You see... Dylan was bioengineered before birth to one day join one of Ultierra's elite eco-teams. With the world on the brink of an ecological collapse, his only mission was to bring the Ultovo eggs to their failing habitats and hatch them. But on the day of release, their carrier was hijacked by drones and all of Ultierra's transmissions were jammed.

By the time Dylan reached the wreckage of the hovercraft, the eggs were gone.

Now it's up to him, Eve and Leo to go on a rogue mission to recover our planet's last hope to restore biological equilibrium, return water to the desiccated rivers and stop the raging storms of global warming.

Note for Parents: Ultovos is a great series to introduce your child to screen-free reading time. Each book is carefully crafted to capture the imagination of young readers with illustrations to spark their curiosity while educating them about our Earth's eco-systems and the importance of protecting them. These key lessons are simply part of the story so kids will absorb the information naturally while they read, but there is also a Field Notes section at the end for inquisitive children to further their knowledge of the real life animals, environments and science that inspired the book.
